Chatham High School brings it home at Montclair theater competition – New Jersey Hills

CHATHAM – Chatham High School has every reason to be proud of its speech and theater teams. 12 Chatham High School theater students took home 13 awards in the 2023 Speech and Theatre Association of New Jersey Governor’s Awards, held at Montclair State University on Friday, Jan. 10. Ten CHS students were also named finalists. “This was a record-breaking year for CHS Theatre students–taking home 20 awards in total. I am beyond proud of their hard work and dedication to this event. The encouragement and support they provide one another throughout the day is truly unmatched,” said CHS theatre teacher Laura Russo.
